I'm not sure there is a speparate fuse/relay to control the door illumination (if you are talking about the lights behind the switches). It is all controlled by the headlight/dimmer switches. At least that is the way the 08 & 09s are. I wouldn't think that there would be a difference but they (GM) did change a few electrical items between 06 & 08. Plus, I can't find any mention of it in the 08 or the 09 manuals. I'll try to pull up the electrical diagrams and see what they say.
