Default Differential question

Does the '08 H3 Differential fluid require a friction modifier based fluid or an additive to put into normal differential fluid? Thinking of going with Royal Purple Max-Gear 75W90, but wanted to be sure before investing the $$$.

To the best of my knowledge it just requires a synthetic 75W90. I just changed out my '07 front & back diff's with the Royal Purple. Took about 4 qt & about 1 1/2 hours.

Appreciate the reply. Just picked up my H3 earlier this week, and planning on changing the diff fluids, tranny filter/fluid, fuel filter, air filter, coolant and belt. Debating on the wires/plugs. I'm a big fan of the accell 8mm's, but from what I've read on this site, majority recommends just getting OE plugs/wires. Truck doesn't exhibit any behavior that would make me suspect any of these items are bad. To me, it's a used vehicle and I am replacing the items for my own peace of mind. I don't have clue-1 about how the person who owned it before me drove it, so I want to start with as clean a slate as possible.
