I'm hoping you guys can help with some info. I used to have an 08 H3 and since selling it, I've been wanting another one. I found a good deal on an 07 and wanted to know what differences there are between the two (engine size, hp, etc)? The previous owner put bigger chrome wheels on it and I'm having a hard time telling if they raised it too. Does anyone know what the distance from the ground to the fender on the rear is? Also, it still has the rake to it which I want to change, so do 07's get lifted up front by turning the torsion bars like on an 08? It also sounds a little louder than mine did and mine was louder than stock since I put a Magnaflow exhaust on it. Is this normal too? Any information would be great especially since I need to decide on this within a day or so. Thanks for the help!

The difference is mainly the front bumper color, 08 silver, 07 gray.
Engine is same.

 

2007 was a transition year. Late 2007s had the power windows in the same location as the 2008, at the front of the armrest. Early 2007 had them at the rear and it is kind of awkward to reach. 2006/2007 had slight differences in the air intake from later years, so the parts will not interchange. As mentioned, the front bumper is black on the 07 and silver on the 08. The 08 had head-curtain airbags that the 07 did not have. The 07 is about 150 pounds lighter than the 08 in stock form.
