Did Towing Kill My Transmission?

RE: Did Towing Kill My Transmission?
Update:
Thanks for everyones help.
Last week SUT pulled7,000 +pounds of custom trailerand cargo in a 2600 +mile trip along
I-40. Had to drive through New Mexico and Arizonamountain/hills. I drove with tow mode on and in 3rd gear. I drove a max speed of 65mph to keep rpmsat an average of2500 rpms.Withgasreceipts, found that I averaged 7.9to 8miles to the gallon of fuel. Without the supercharger, I would havelacked the power to make it up some of the mountains in a reasonable timeframe. Only one long climb gave me some difficulty and began to slightly overheat the engine. The transmission never overheated. Infact, the transmission runs cooler in 3rd.
One very postive aspect of the SUT for pulling trailers is the sharp turning radius. Was a very big plus. Overall, the H2SUT did the towing job well.
I also found out that my gas guage is off by 7or 8 gallons or I have an abnormally high fuel reserve. I may have misadjusted the fuel pump float when I changed the fuel pump during the supercharger install several months ago.

$1252.85however it hasonly a 6 month or 6,000 warranty.
Yes, I am keeping it. If it can pull 7,ooo lbs. up those New Mexico and Arizona I-40 long climbs (and look good doing it), it more than meets my needs.

RE: Did Towing Kill My Transmission?
Guys,
The stock transmission from factory with the 6.0 l is a 4L65 transmission. This transmission in not strong enough if you put on a supercharger. The 3rd gear is the weakest and brakes down easiest. You can reinforce it with spare parts so that it can handle much more. However if you put a supercharger and larger wheels the only solution that will hold is a reinforced 4L85 swap. I was with Geigercars in Munchen and they tried a lot of possibilities for their tuned and supercharged H2. With the 4L65 they could never get a good solution. They never tried a 4L85 swap as far as I know. Other solutions are not so strong as the 4L85E I could not find a lot of information about this swap on the net. We did it anyway. SO if anybody wants some details i can tell you how we did it.

Hey I have a 2006 H2 With a 6" lift fabtech on 22" rims with 40" mudgrapplers. I have 57,000 miles on the truck. I tow a boat with it up 5000 foot elevation up and down. I was driving home from arizona and my tranny started making a grinding noise and then went out. Any seggestions to a replacement? Any luck on a bigger or better transmission?
