RE: DiamondBack Truck Covers for h3t
Sweet! I'm glad they came up with something, I carry stuff on the top of my dimondback, and there is always that concern of things coming loose and hitting the back window. Looks like that is made to prevent just that!

I priced one from Diamondback last week, the cab guard costs $320.00. I think they look sharp, but does it interfere with raising the front cover (is the shock strong enough to hold it up with the added weight) and does it allow the rear cover to be folded back onto the front cover?

Those are nice, but man - that's far more money than I want to pay for a cover.
I contacted Fold-A-Cover...as that's the model I had on my past Colarado - I really liked it - inexpensive, sturdy, versatile. Thier response was that they have decided to not make a cover for the H3T because GM has too many options to compete with them.

Hey Big Al,
Got mine on, 4 bolts gets it on, it doesn't interfere with raising the front cover exept when you have to reach in to push up the safety relief bar. You want to hold the cover so it doesn't allow the cover back on your arm. Once you kick out the bar, a slight push and the shocks will open the cover all the way up and hold the cover door open just like it should. The back cover door opens with the front one up just as it would with out the cab guard, dosen't come anywhere near touching it.
