Dealer Asking for these services! Any advice?
2008 H3 with 65,000 kms
Dealer ask for the ff:
SI Annual inspection ------$80.00
Transfer Case Service ----$310.00
Transmission Flush ------$190.00
Brake System flush ------$110.00
Flush Fuel ins.-----------$ 180.00
Clean Throttle body -----$ 100.00
(another flush that I can't understand the writing) ------$150.00
then another which says (can't understand writing either) but it says: Cond Service or something--------$200.00
I told him to give me a day or two and I'll phone for an appointment:
That's a total of almost $1400 plus taxes.
may I get your advice which do you prefer for me to do first and which one do you think are unnecessary???
Thank you!!!

Check your owners manual, it has all the reommended intervals. Some of the services are use-dependent in addition to mileage, so keep that in mind. I had a tranny flush at 50 thousand, which was early for my useage, but it was very close in price.

Right I would check the manual first then if it says I really need such service based on my current mileage, I would rather take it to a certified mechanic that I know and probably save few hundred bucks.
Well, thanks to you advice my friends I truly appreciate.

I had my 2006 H2 into the dealer on Thursday for an inspection. It has 37k miles. Here is what they recommended:
Perform induction service - $135
Fuel Injection clean - $140
Replace Fluid - $359 (must be some pretty expensive fluid)
Perform power steering system flush - $116
These total $750.
Hummers are expensive to own.

Not to mention the possibilities that they screw up something in the process. Anytime the dealer wants to do something ahead of the factory maintenance schedule, it just means more money for them and another chance to mess something up.

I know what you mean bro, but that would only be possible if I can find some tutorial " HOW TO DO IT" stuff that would lead me to perform each process. Where can I find them? Are they available in GOOGLE? You might have the link you could share that would be a huge help.
Thanks in advance!!!

I got an owners manual on cd from someone on ebay, because in the manual the engine alone has 783 pages, this is for a 06 H3. The manual is informative for routine maintenance, I know that the transmission fluid for the H3 is somewhere around $7 a quart.
