Default Day Light Running Light Replacement

Hi, I have a 2003 H2 and want to remove my daylight running lights and replace them with a powerful fog/driving light with relay. Has anyone done this?? and if so, is it real involved, or is it a simple job? If you know of any written instructions anywhere, please advise. Thanks....

You can swap in some Sylvania bulbs, if thats what you are asking? Those are much brighter and will work really well; in fact, put them in your fog lights too.

No, that is not what I ment, but thanks. I have seen some H2's with small PIAA lights, maybe a three or four inch light in the same hole as the daytime running lights. They are either fog or driving and are on a relay. The head lights in these things are dim, even on high beam. I live in the mountains and need all the light I can get when driving. Hope someone can advise. Thanks....

Default Lights

The piaa lights is what you want , i saw a vid on the web on how to install them on a h2 , its not to bad you tie the relay in with your high beam lights only to be legal, mike

United Pacific ( usually for 18-wheeler accessories ) has 7" round headlights that fit in place if the stock H2 headlights. These are crystal reflective housings. I installed a pair of these in the Jeep Wrangler Sahara that I had, to replace sealed beams. The United housings have a replaceable "H4" series bulb that's 55/80 watt bulbs. Those alone were excellent, but, who can leave well enough alone? I ordered some H4 bulbs from Hella that are 80/100 watts. Whoa!!! We're talkin' daylight on high-beam. I never had anyone flash me or make any gestures when they were on low-beam.
No, I have not done this on my H2-------yet!! Did I mention "who can leave well enough alone"?
