Hang in there. I no people that had to give up caffiene for health reasons and it can be very difficult. Didn't bother me too much to cut down on it but I know it is much harder for some.

That's why I'm doing it. I want to have a clean system before I get some tests done next weekend because my problems may have to do with the caffiene. I don't want anybody to tell me that so I'm being a little proactive. I'm actually hoping it's that simple.

Good luck. My doctor told me to always keep your normal routine before tests because it makes it easier for them to diagnose what has been going on with you. Don't know, just what I was told.

Thanks. I heard that as well, but I need to get off this stuff. It's obviously nothing compared to what Impy is going through, but we all have our perils.
It's been 50 hours with no coffee, cola, etc. No caffeine. You are talking to someone that probably down a liter of cola a day, plus Dunkin's coffee in the morning.
Yesterday during lunch in a food court with about 200 or so people, I literally fell asleep at the table we were all sitting at, about 60 seconds after I finished eating. They were saying I must have not slept last night playing Grand Theft Auto 4. I haven't even bought it yet.
Besides being sleepy all day long, I'm getting these caffeine withdrawal headaches that you get. It's a small pain in your head but constant all the time, unless you are sleeping. I think the drousiness is wearing off a bit but now the headaches are here.
I can't believe you can get this f'd up on caffeine, but my amounts were excessive daily.

According to all the medical web sites, the average is 4 to 7 days if you cut cold turkey like I did. so I may be half through it already. I'm already feeling a bit different, more focused, etc.

I went 6 days with no caffeine and didn't notice one difference. I did however notice that when I stopped taking my new allergy medication, my headaches went away with it. I think my problem was the allergy meds and not the caffeine.
