Default Crossbow

I know we have some hunters out there. Does anybody have much or any expierence with crossbows? I'm looking at buying one and am undecided between Tenpoint or Horton. Who uses what and how do you like it?

Only allowed in MI if you are a certified handicapped hunter so I got no ideas. They are cool though.

I used to have a nice one, i don't remember who made it, it was all tactical type black and had a 100lbs pull (I think). All I know was that it was considered highly illegal in North America.

Man do I wish I had never sold that. I rememberd taking it to the shooting range and they just lauged and said I wouldn't be able to use it as it would penetrate anything they have for bows and crossbows.

I thought crossbows were expensive, they are cheaper than paintball guns

That Barnett is nice and the fps is quicker than the others I looked at. Not to mention about $1000 less then the tenpoint. I may have to take the 45 minute road trip to Cabelas.

Kild1 haven't seen you post in a while. It's coming around to hunting season and now you come out of the woods. Nice buck on your pic, hope to get one this year.

Sounds like a busy end of the year. Movng, kids, hunting and holidays not far behind. Good luck finding time for everything, gotta respect that.
