Default Crooked bumper on your H3

On my last trip to the dealer, I had my bumper straightened. It (or the grill) had a larger gap on the pass. side between the grill and the bumper then the drivers side. As I started looking through pictures of other H3's, AND some on the lot, I found that almost all H3's have misaligned bumpers. They fixed it with no problem, but here is an example:

I would bet that almost everybody here, if you look REALLY hard (or even measure it) has the same issue, but most people don't look for it, therefore don't notice it. Check it out and let me/us know. I'm curious. Mine is a '06, and I even noticed it in the '07 loaner. My wife, who is not a big car person, even said "wow even the new ones have the crooked bumpers" so I knew I wasn't dreaming.

I'll take a look later today!, Is that picture of your car or the loaner, I had a loaner last week from probably the same place by the tollway.

No. Actually it's a picture from another thread of a H3 that somebody is selling on eBay. I live in Chicago. After seeing this picture, I remembered that I have been forgetting to post a message about this, so now I have some proof it's not just me lol

Here is a picture of mine:

I don't know if you can see it, but I'll see if I can find a better one.

Just checked mine and [sm=smiley35.gif], he's right. My right side gap is 1/4" more than the left. Not sure I'm gonna drive 500 miles to my dealer right away to have this fixed though. Guess I have to wait until something a little more serious happens(like my rear tire falling off!) before singing the warranty blues. [sm=proof.gif]

Well, you can't see it on mine but it was about 1/2" to 3/4" off! I mean, cmon' it's not THAT big of a deal in the grand scheme of things. My H3 will probably suffer worse cosmetic damage then that once I actually go off-roading, but for it to be on so many of them is just amusing in a way. I saw a couple of H3's there were REALLY bad on the lot. You think they would have caught that by the '07 models
