CREAKING on new 2010. >500 miles
Been reading that this is either a body mount issue or leaf spring issue...but either way, extremely disappointed that I have creaking (and it's pretty bad) on my wonderful Birch White Alpha Off Road H3T. Outside of what's been written on this, any other thoughts? Grrr.

Its minimal and Im thinkin I will give the new H3T a break-in period to see if it goes away on its own.

This has nothing to do with needing a break-in and from what I've read on these forums, WD40 is just a bandaid. This is a deeper issue that the dealer's need to fix (body mount or leaf spring), and should be corrected even if the dealer's push back.
I'm taking mine to the dealer after I get back from Crandon. Gonna ride with the service manager to make sure he hears what I'm hearing.

Took mine in for service at 100 miles with the same issue. First I thought it was a CV joint problem...almost like a faint ticking. They said they lubed the body mounts. However, the noise is still there!

I have a similar creaking noise- i get when shifting while stopped (from P to 1st or R and back). Definitly not leaf springs like I was told by the dealer after having a broken CV Joint replaced and definitly not body mounts. After talking with my Brother inlaw, whos got a PhD in Enginering from NYU, Im 100% sure my creaking is from a bad transmission -shifting into 2nd is real ruff and some times get a sudden jerk and loud thud. Remember, yawl got 5 yrs to get it fixed!

Mine did this a bit when I got it, I found out what it was though later on.
The cradle that the torsion key sits in got some dirt into it and when the suspension would flex it and change the tension on the torsion bar it would grind and resonate in the frame as a creaking noise. I power washed the dirt out of it, then sprayed it down with WD40 and it went away.
