Here is the adaptor

It depents on what kind of tubing you have for paintball but this is designed to hook up to a quick connect low pressure line.

So on a slightly different twist to the air tank idea, does anyone know if a 5 gallon tank @ 120 pis holds enough volume to seat a bead? If it does, then I will buy a 5 gal tank from WalMart and keep that around for filling tires when I get done fourwheeling, and for seating the inevitiable popped bead from airing down. I have a ViAir portable compressor to keep it full with that I am using now to inflate after wheeling.

hmm...thats a good question linus. I've never seen a tire get reseated with a portable tank but if you can get the right valve I'm sure it's possible.

Linus,

To re-seat the bead, placea ratchet strap around the tire. The circumference of the tire, I should say. Tighten it down, to cause the beads of the tire to compress against the rim. This will allow you to refill an unbeaded tire, without too much, if any wasted air.

Or you could do the starter fluid and lighter trick.. lol.

I know all of the tricks, but what actually seats the bead is really fast high volume. You need to take the valve out of the stem to get as much volume into the tire as quickly as possible, but the question is, does a 5 gallon tank hold enough volume? If you put more pressure behind it, the volume is there, along with speed, but the typical air tank cant hold much more than 120 psi, maybe 150 psi, but that can be pushing it for the compressor.

I dont know what kind of pressure it takes to reseat a bead but lets see if math can figure this out for a 33" tire (about)

31 - inner diameter
16 - wheel diameter
11 -inner tire width

volume of wheel + tire =8302 cubic inches
volume of wheel =2211 cubic inches
volume of tire =6091 cubic inches
volume of tire = 26.4 gallons

volume of air in tireat 16psi = 422.4 gallons
volume of air in tireat 32psi = 844.8 gallons

volume of air in 120psi 5 gallon tank to fill to 16psi =520 gallons
volume of air in 150psi 5 gallon tank to fill to 16psi =670 gallons

volume of air in 120psi 5 gallon tank to fill to 32psi =440 gallons
volume of air in 150psi 5 gallon tank to fill to 32psi =590 gallons

So a 5 gallon tank could fill1 empty tire to about 20 psi assuming very little or no air loss.
Or it would be just barely enough to take one tire from 4 wheeling pressure to the point where the tire system says its safe for highway use.

I'm gonna hve to try the rathcet strap trick...I have never used that method before...we just mostly use the old lighter fluid-match -and run trickI saw one guy reseat a 40" toyo with a winch cable....that was impressive.
