Does anyone know if the dealer's color matched grills are molded-in color or painted on the plastic grill?

I am thinking of color matched graphite or flat black Linex. I may go with the color matched if it is molded in color.

 

I believe it is just paint on plastic, like the chrome over plastic. Somebody with a color matched grill help us out.

 

Well, I don't have any scars to be able to tell for sure. But, it seems to be painted.

 

I wonder how close the red Krylon Fusion would be to Victor Red?

I wanted to get this done but thought a body shop would charge too much.

 

I just installed a black one. It seems to be painted on, but I could be wrong.

 

If it's the same as the H2, it's painted on.

why not just go get a little can of paint and reducer and clear,and buy a cheap gun,heck you would have but 50 bucks in the whole thing.spraying with a spray gun is similer to krylon.and the paint tells you how to mix it

 

How much do these go for when you see them on eBay? I don't remember and I don't see any on there right now.
