cold air system?

Question cold air system?

thinking about putting in an airaid cold air filter system in, Company states better response,more mpg, etc. Cost about 200.00. has anyone installed this system or one like it? Is it worth installing? thanks in advance for your imput/help

i have a true flow and i use a k&n air filter and i luv it . this system keeps the factory air box which i liked about it. some people install other air intakes and get the check engine light.

lucky-thanks for info-what i am not sure about is -What is a true flow ? did you just replace your stock filter with a k&n? thanks john

true flow is an intake system brand just like airaid

yes it's a air intake system just like all the others except for 1 thing, u don't have to remove the air box like the others.

I installed the air raid system with throttle body spacer. I gained power, torque and a nice sound from the engine when I step on the throttle. It's very simple to install - took me about 20 min.

Airaid makes an excellent air filter.

I gotta add that taking the lid off your 06/07 H3 air filter box trades heated air for increased flow and nets you almost nothin, except some intake sound. Not so bad when outside temps are below 50F.

hello persius, which airraid system did u get? why the throttle body spacer? any problems with check engine light coming on after install?

I installed the K&N filter and removed the resonator box. No red lights.

No lights came on after install. Did notice better mileage: 17.5 - 18.5 mpgs!!!
