Default Cold Air intakes on H2's?

I have OCD when it comes to my vehicles and I love to constantly upgrade and "bling" them out. So i was looking around and saw that there was cold air intakes for the H2. Wondering if anyone here had installed them, what brand you went with, what if any performance increase you saw, what type of price you paid, did you see any decrease in gas mileage(I know is a silly question but any drop is a factor when they only get approx 9mpg) and if you had to do it again, would you buy it all over.

When we test drove the 06 before buying it, it seemed a bit more sluggish compared to the Escalade. But it is a bit more heavy and it did not have the Corsa exhaust on at that time. I want to get this thing up to the power of pushing me back in the seat a bit when I step on the gas. I know its not gonna be a drag racer but still I want it better than it is now.

Thanks

I put one on from K and N. Took it off 2 days later because I could not stand the sound. During that time I did feel a diff in power.(also have a magnaflow exhaust) For me, it made to much noise in the cabin. Expect to pay $279 and up.

Can you describe the noise? Was it like air being sucked in or like some moron forgot to install a window in a 747 Jumbo Jet?

LOL!! Kinda in between. I think is is because the box sits right at the firewall. .....It made the exhaust a lot louder also. This is my daily driver and I don't think I could stand that all the time.

Joe, Took off the intake but kept the exhaust on. Taking it to Myrtle Beach on Friday for a week and a half, be back around the 4th or 5th. We'll see how it does.

Awesome. Will they take it back, or will you have to sell it outright?

Hey Tiger,

I have the Volant cold air intake. I LOVE it. I also have the Magnaflow like blackstangs281, and for me they sound AWESOME together!
