Default Climate Control back lighting

My climate control temperature control backlight seems to be out. I can press it for AC and the yellow indicator lights up. It performs the indicated function - hot or cold temperatures.

Is there a replacement bulb/led or does require dealership repair? Or has it never illuminated?
Thanks

The whole thing (all three controls/***** are one unit) needs replaced, unless you know how to solder. You might be able to find one on Ebay cheaper than the $200+ the dealership will charge. Luckily I had mine replaced just before I passed 50,000.

I just had mine replaced too! I'm milking my warranty for everything I can get before it runs out.

If you're good enough with an iron to solder micro LED's you can pull it off, but I just said screw it and let the dealer handle it.

The purpose of my post was about the backlight showing the cold/hot (blue/red) indication. The amber light will come with or without the light system on. The replacement seems to be in $400+ range, so this may remain this way for awhile.

Thanks for all the feedback.

I bought a set of three lightbulbs for $15 off eBay that are direct fit replacments for the heater unit. The PITA is opening up the controls box to change them out.
