Air Filter? Next steps would then be a compression check and if that's okay then check the associated fuel injector.

Do our trucks have an ignition control module or are the coils driven directly the powertrain control module?

i'm ordering a K&N cold air intake the 57 series this weekend, ill install it and see, hopefully thats all, its weird because for just about 24 to 36 hours the h3 was running perfect and everything, then jus went back to how it was... it was weird, i blew out the paper filter i have in there at the moment with a air hose because i'm going to get the K&N so soon, so mine as well deal with that one for a bit longer, hopefully thats all it is....

and another thing in when i start it up and put it into gear i step on the gas and it kinda like putters twice then catches then itll take off, sometimes it does it when i come to a stop too.. any clue what that could be?

My other truck threw a code, idled rough, and dipped in RPM's everytime I stopped. I was advised, from here, to add Techron fuel system cleaner. I do this mix once a month, no codes thrown, idle problems fixed. These things start running like an Evinrude tractor when the throttle body is dirty and/or a clogged injector.

His is an 06, unless it has under 50,000 miles, no warranty.

nope no warrenty, im at 65k which means if i have that problem(hoping really badly its NOT because then ill pull all my hair out) i'm S.O.L.
ill get a few things of that cleaner and put one in a month and see how that goes, its weird tho, i mean today driving to and back from work,(33miles one way) it was running like a champ, jus felt like it was hiccuping alil but not shaking to bad or anything, i jus put my order in for the K&N cold air intake and will arrive early next week so hopefully it breaths better too....
