Car Seats
I have a question that is going to sound wierd! I have an H3 and need to put three car seats in the back. My current car seats will not fit three across, does anyone have experience with having three car seats in an H3?

RE: Car Seats
Well I have to say that at least you asked a question that I have not seen before. I stopped at two and they were out of car seats by Hummer time so no I don't have a good answer for you. Someone while chime in shortly that has more experience with this than I do.

RE: Car Seats
We retired one of our three car seats a couple months ago, so only one full car seat and a booster. Before that it was two full boosters and a toddler seat.
It's a bit tight but doable if you have the right seats. We had to buy a combination of seats that fit in our Sport Track a couple years ago. The H3 rear seat is maybe an inch wider than the ST.
Options depend a lot on the size of the kids you are needing seats for , but a couple of suggestions. Seats that have the straps built in keep you from having to stuff you r had between seats and buckle them blind. The down side to them is that the seat is normally wider.
I went with narrow seats. I have one RECARO "Start" It's a great seat light weight very adjustable and has a very narrow base that makes it easy to fasten when it's next to another seat. The other one is a cheep Graco convertible that we are just using the booster for now. When we bought it we didn't have time to order another RECARO and it was the narrowest thing we could find in a store. It worked so we continue to use it.
Look at http://www.car-seat.org/ Tons of information and links... I'm not sure if it is there or one of the sites they link to that had the ability to sort seats by width at the base and at the widest point which is very handy.
