I have to do the AC heater upgrade on my 94 4dr Hardtop. I came across a grey interior which is the newer 2000ish. Can I upgrade my interior to the newer style, has anyone done this, will it fit? I prefer the grey to my tan, but mainly I like the rear controls, better vents, and more storage and cup holders that the newer version offers. Also I am told the shifter pad is upgraded and keeps the heat out better.

Any and all of your thoughts are appreciated... Thanks guys!

 

you can do anything to your Hummer.... its all about time and money.... your 94 has a different dog-house then a turbo diesel, yours is shorter, along with many other differences.... so if you are getting a complete interior you could do it, but it would be very time consuming.... I would suggest if you do it to dynamat the interior as well to make it much quieter....

 

Also note that the interiors are hand assembled. One interior will not line up with another interior without drilling new holes in many cases. No big deal. H1's are slapped together when it comes to the interior, the trim holes are not consistant.

My 98 is half from an 01 and half from 98, with a few trim new trim bits.
