Default Can I get bluetooth in 2007 H3 with oem navigation?

Been looking at the Parrot MKi9000 bluetooth car kit (OnStar doesn't work in my country) but I have the oem navigation unit installed. Parrot states that the kit won't work with the oem unit which has a separate amplifier.

Question is, does the oem nav unit have a separate amp.

If so, can anyone recommend a solution for bluetooth/ipod for 2007 H3?

Thanks!

If you have the OEM navigation, then there is a separate amplifier in the car. The standard radio with CD has the amplifier built into the radio, this is why you can't swop out to the Navigation if you don't have the wiring and amp in the car. I'm guessing that parrot states it won't work because you are bypassing the amplifier which is needed to hear through your speakers when the bluetooth is on.
I had a similar problem when I tried to install aftermarket modules. Onstar offers a package which works with your cellphone through the car's system. I know you stated in your country you don't have Onstar, but maybe your dealer can hook something up with your cell phone through the existing antenna used by onstar. Just a thought. Other than that, I can't think of any other option but to purchase an external bluetooth unit like Motorola or change out your entire radio.

The Parrot kit does work with the amplified system, but you have to use a couple relays to do it. Basically you use the output of the Parrot kit to trip the relays and make them cut off power to the amp temporarily. As soon as the call is over the relays flip back and the amp comes back on. It's a tricky setup, but I've done it many times.

What would be the solution? I have the 6 Disc Monsoon radio on my 09 H3T, is there a way to install bluetooth as well as an IPod interface? Onstar doesn't work in Mexico either...
Thanks.

My H3 just has the regular non navigation radio in it. I have been looking to upgrade to the touchscreen navigation. What would you all recommend?
Thanks.
