I put 22" divinci wheels on my 03 H2 shortly after I bought it and never had a problem. I have taken it off road with those same 22's countless times.

I love the comments and looks on peoples faces

They are wrapped with Nitto Terra Grapplers and I get real good wear from them, but they are horrible in the mud.

My 2003 H2 Off Road Near Ft Huachuca sporting 22's

I will say this, I am going back to 20's and larger tires. Possibly even military tires like those found here http://wartires.com/

22's look nice, but 20's look nice too and even nicer when you put 37" to 40" tires on them. Makes the Hummer look like it should...

I really like the look of 22's dk rock stars. I just did not want to lift the truck to put them on they already cost so much.

Ultimately I lifted my truck to accommodate extra flex off road, but there was never any need to if your sticking to the street.
If you do plan to take it off road, your going to need to lift it or mod the fender wells. It flexes alot and will chew your tires and body up.

Theres alot of other items you need to watch if and when you take your H2 wheelin. Some of the items I HAD to repair or replace are as follows:

Bump stops: replaced after first time wheeling with Timbren SES
Factory shocks: broke 1 and blew seals on 2 others first time out. Replaced with Skyjacker dual shocks and steering stabilizer.

Pitman arm, the factory one is crapola, replaced due to stress crack noticed after first time out replaced with heavy duty one from Cognito. NOTE if you fail to replace your damaged Pitman arm and it breaks while your driving you WILL crash and burn due to total loss of steering control

Below are the items that were a must for off road and on that ive replaced, safety first you know...mind you of these parts wore out or broke. was just a matter of GM not using proper off road worthy gear.

Cognito UCA's, Cognito Pitman/Idler Arm Kit, Cognito Sway Bar Links, Chevy Green Key Torsion Bar "Lift," Fabtech Tie Rods, Skyjacker Steering Stabilizer, Skyjacker Shocks, Warn 9.5ti Multimount Winch, Dual Optima Yellow Top Batteries, Tru-cool External Transmission Oil Cooler, Eaton Front Locker, Rubber Duck UCP Protection

It was all worth every dime

Oh and throw out the factory jack, its useless both on and off road. For the cost of an oil change you can get an X-JACK EXHAUST JACK. One of the best investments I have made.

I just replaced my rims and tires and had plenty of people try and talk me into 20's but I had a vision and stuck with it..I think Hummers look good with big tires and average size rims so I stuck with 17's and put on 37" tires..if you ever do any real offroading ( not fire roads) your gonna want some rubber.. Its your truck so do what makes you happy

I like the look, I have been leaning toward the same as my wheeling has been getting more and more extreme.
The wartires package WarTires is what i'm considering right now. Its a set of 17" wheels and 37" tires for a grand.
Only takes a few min to swap if I wanted to, as I could never get much for my current rims and tires due to trail damage.

Definitely like the looks on 17's

What kind of wheels and tires are those, kinda hard to tell.

This is how my H2 looks with 22. I have not had any issues but the again i dont really go off road like most of or Hummer brothers. The only rough terain i see is the pot holes in NYC.

Default Wheel size

Ok let's go with this
315/70r17 is around 34 to 35 over all height
35/13.50r20
35/13.50r22
The over all height is th same 22" and 20" are just the wheel size nothing to do with other dimensions of tire so they will work
