Went to leave for vacation and airbags were dry rotted so I replaced them. And they aired up perfect. Neighbor broke the ride height sensor arm putting in wheel well on pass. Side. Got new pass sensor but sensor is different, part numbers 15124929. Original sensor when mounted had connector pointing to the rear and new one has it towards the front also the new strut rod is about an inch shorter so the truck is sitting hi on the pass side about 2 inches. So hi that driver airbag deflates. Have at dealer and they say sensor values at hi and low level are opposit and they are fighting each other. They ordered another sensor and it is the same problem. I am in Westland if anyone local has a pass sensor they don't need and would be able to help. Or if anyone has info on how to correct this problem. I am towing a 5 k lb trailer so I can't tow it with just one bag working. If all else fails I may have to rent a truck to tow trailer home.

 

Can you get the bags inflated to the height you need to pull the trailer and then disconnect both sensor arms. The bags should stay at that level and get you home.
