Hey everyone, This is a great site. My latest issue with 3007 H3x, a thump in the brake pedal when stopping, the vehicle stops ok. Could it be the master cylinder or maybe pads? Under warranty? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

drw6140: Don't give Peggy from whereever any information. Contact your local GM dealer and have them run your VIN #. They can give you the inservice date as well as when your coverage ends.



As far as the "thumping" issue, I haven't heard of this before. Hope someone who has had this issue will speak up and tell you what their issue was and how to approach fixing it.

I don't know if it the same "thump" or not, but I had a knock/vibration in steering wheel and my pedals. There is a TSB for it (070235006) so my dealership replaced the lower intermediate shaft. This may or may not be the same issue.
