Bolt-On Plate Spare Tire Removal?
Does anyone know who sells a bolt-on plate to cover the holes on the tailgate when the spare tire/mount is removed? It would be a plate with 4 studs in the corners.

Why not just put the bolts back in the holes and leave it? I know that vent in the back will show, but it should let anything it that wouldn't normally get in through it.
If nothing else, go find a welder that has a scrap piece of sheetmetal the right size and drill the bolt holes in it and paint it black. Then bolt it on.
You might be able to get it for free too.

Hey OAHU, I removed my spare tire mount. I just went to my local hardware store with one of the bolt/studs and replaced with stainless steel allen bolts. I also used rubber washers behind the bolts, They tightened down real nice and dont look to bad. Ill see If i can find a pic to show ya. See ya,,, Sorry best pics I could find...

RE: Bolt-On Plate Spare Tire Removal?
Thanks for the replys. I took off the tire & mount and installed 4 bolts from Home Depot. The guyt I picked up the H3 from said that he seen one here with a bolt-on plate. If anything my friend and I will come up with something that we can market. We do a lot of fabrication with carbon fiber for inport cars. I sold a TT 300Z with big HP and decided to go with the H3. I grew out of the whole speed thing. I'll post a picture later with the dual HID 600k conversion on the H3. The amount of light output is unbelievable. It lights up 6 lanes across and at least .5 mile down the freeway.
