board is SLOWER than ever!!!!
ok, Patrick...here is what is happening now.
when I go to load any page the page loads but all I get is the header of the page with a blacnk screen below it, then 2 minutes later my status bar shows this:
wating for pageas.googlesyndication.com/pagead/ads?client=
is this something on the board or on my end?

RE: board is SLOWER than ever!!!!
ok...we are having this problem at one of the other sites. one of the mods there is a computer guy, and he got to tinkering around with things, and he seems to have fixed it, on his end...this is what he did:
obviously, if you do this, youll want to do it with hummerforums in place of dodgeforum...
he is still not having the time out issues...hummerguy, does this make any sense to you? we have been forwarding all of this info to the people from ASP, as well as our server people.
It seemed when I added Dodgeforum.com as a trusted siteall my issues disappeared. Granted I was only working for about 15 minutes, but I did numerous clicks and posts without issue. Here is what I did, give it a try and see if helps.
In IE go to tools and click Internet Options
Go to the Security tab
Click on Trusted Sites
Click the Sites button
Add http://www.dodgeforum.com to the trusted list. If there is a check box talking about requiring server authentication (HTTPS) remove the check, if you do not remove the check you will notbe able to add http://www.dodgeforum.comto the list.

RE: board is SLOWER than ever!!!!
If it was a trust issue, it would not allow the contect at all. It would prompt every time for permission from the user to access the secured content. It wouldn't just be a random problem. I doubt this is what will fix it, but I guess anything is worth a try. I have the same problems IK does no matter if I'm on our T3 connection at work or my cable connection at home.
