I PERSONALLY was Holding Out till this whole Blu/HD war finalizes a Winner!!

Honestly had my $$$ on HD DVD being the winneras we rent both formats in my stores and HD DVD outrents BluRay 3-1!! Then last Thursday I saw an ad in the WalMart flyer, some no-name HD DVD player for $129!! I figured this low price was going to push HD over the top as MOST consumers worry about PRICE!!! Then later in the afternoon, the WarnerBrothers BOMBSHELL!!!! Bastards!!!

So I'm thinking HD DVD will LOSE out EVEN with Microsoft behind them!!! So I guess I should go pick up a BluRay player!![:@][:@]

WB looks like it is one of the final nails in the coffin for HD DVD.

When I heard that, I was glad I decided to wait it out. Guess it will be a BR in my not to distant future.

HumBob, how is this going to effect the way you stock your shelves?

You guys don't have the best experience until you get my setup. I got a 65" HDTV with Bose surrond sound BUT the one thing you really need is the BUTTKICKER. Check it out at www.thebuttkicker.com it is alow frequency audio transducer that I attached to my sofa whenever there is an explosion on the screen my entire sofa shakes and rattles. You feel like you are in the movie! Even playing Xbox 360 games it takes it to a new level.

BlockBuster does rent BlueRay dics, NetFlicks too...

I've had the BR a while now in my PS3. I've got it tied in with HDMI to a 42 LCD 1080P and man it is sweet.

My surround system is Onkyo 7.1 amp with Cerwin Vega speakers and a Sony sub-woofer. It frikkin cranks. I've got the iPod Onkyo dock too and I can play my iPod through it and control it with the Onkyo remote. SWEET!

If you guys do get a BR unit, get the PLANET EARTH series on BlueRay. I've got the BBC version narrated by David Attenburough.
