Default black taillights

Does anyone have these on their rig and have a picture of them? I'm curious how they look when the brake light isn't on. They're darker then the same ones that are smoked, but still look see through in the picture.

I've got smoked tails. I didn't like the ones like those you show. I'll see about posting some pics.

Smoked tail lights may look cool but I don't think its a safe idea!

Our local law grabs people with darkened headlamps and/or tail lamps after dark.

Why wouldn'tsmoked tailights be safe? Thatstatement doesn't make sence.Especiallyif you use L.E.D. bulbs. Some OE's have smoked lenses.

All that DOT requires if taillights are smoked is that they have a red reflective surface which it does making it safe and legal

Those appear to be the ones I've got on mine. Bermuda Black by IPCW. They are surrounded by clear plastic, with black inside. I originally thought the outside was smoked, but the are not. They do look black from a few feet away, even during the day.

I think these lights are funky and not in a good way. The term blacked out lights usually refers too the idiots who paint their existing factory tailights with a translucent paint that limits the amount of light output. Why would you want to be harder to see at night? These are L.e.d thogh and are not tinted over the existing bulbs. Light output will be brighter and the flasher wont regulate the current flow correctly and will make the lights blink much faster. I have seen some that look better wihout the red ring ding over the back up light. It all comes down to if you like them then buy them.
