Default Bi-xenon headlights

I just found Bi-Xenon HID kit on Ebay. Has anyone purchased this yet?

I guess you are reffering to the kit that has an HID low beam and the regular halogen high beam? I was looking ino them when I got my hid kit but space is really tight with just an hid bulb....couldn't imagine having to grind the bulb base down with two bulbs on it. Good luck with your kit.

According to this guys advertisement modifications will not be needed. He wanted $299.00 but took $229.00. The first system I bought every thing fit but the wire leads would not plug into the factory plug. So I sent it back. I will let you know what I get with this new kit.

Hey Import Killer. What are you talking about having to use a dremel to modify socket? The first HID kit I purchased from JDM in Japan snapped right into the housing.

not mine!! The base of the bulb was too big one mine, I had to dremel it to make it fit...pain in the *** but it works. I have talked to a few different local speed shops that install HID's and they all told me that the H13 plug is still under patent and that there are no aftermarket plugs available yet, so that it would have to be spliced into the factory harness. Don't know if thats the problem you are having with your set taht you returned. I had to splice mine in.

On the kit I got from JDM the base fitr perfectly. I just had to remove the rubber washer that came with it and replace it with the stock one. The wire leads did not plug into the stock socket and that is when I decided not to install the lights. I was told by the company that I got the kit form that it was plug and play. My wife also did not like the idea of no high beam. The bi xenon I just ordered will be in shortly and I will let you know how that goes.

yea they all say plug and play but that plug isn't out yet on the market so I think any hid set you buy will need to be spliced in.....unless the plug has been made by now, as of three weeks ago it wasn't available. Good luck with your new kit!!
