Default Best Aftermarket Stereo Option?

Does anyone have recommendations for the best aftermarket stereo option for the H3? I am on my second OEM Monsoon after 1/2 of the display lights failed on the first unit and now the second one is skipping CDs like there is no tomorrow. Subsequenlty, I think it is time to pass on the OEM models.

I'd like to keep the sound quality, 6 CD changer, and OnStar dial display with any replacement unit.

Thanks!

Go to crutchfield and do some shopping. You can customize what you want and they will tell you if it will fit or not.

Do what was suggested, go to Crutchfield and see what setup is "best" for you and within your budget. OEM is good but falls short compared to aftermarket.

Like everyone said, go to crutchfield, but like no one said, DONT BUY FROM THEM.

Their prices are borderline criminal.

I use a Kenwood DNX9980 and couldn't be happier. The on board garmin nav is so far ahead of every other GPS option built into a head unit its unbelievable.

I even made a custom map of the place I go wheeling and loaded it up on an SD card, no more getting lost on random trail #225256 for me!

Very true! I have the exact same model...found it on Ebay $550 shipped. I love everything about it. I even have a similiar startup screen that I found on kenwood forums.

Yes, I forgot to mention that crutchfield is for research purposes only. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!

sonicelectronix.com is a good site to check out.
