they seem to last forever, but if you're concerned, just buy a new one and stick it,,in the back door.
now if you're concerned if its really the right one,you could put it on to be positive.
at that point you could decide to put the old one back on till it breaks, or just leave the new one on and keep the old one as backup, knowing that if you ever need it,it may break the minute you put it on.
you could buy 2 new ones and,,, well you get it,,

Cracking itself does not mean the belt needs to be changed. The onset of cracking typically signals that the belt is only about halfway through its usable life.
A good rule of thumb for serpentine drive belts is that if cracks are observed 1/8" apart, all around the belt, the belt may be reaching the end of its serviceable life and should be considered for changing. If you have cracking that close together, or the belt has chunks missing, or the back side is "glazed", it is time to change it.
Small cracks spaced at greater intervals that 1/8" should not be considered as indicative that the belt needs changing.

at 80000 you need a spare anyway so just put it on.
i wouldnt drive to town in my 10 with 20k without a spare belt! they last forever , or until they break whichever is first. very cheap hiking insurance.
in my teens,a friend taught me about that simple concept.
store in the door!

Thanks Guys, I do get a belt squeal on first start up in morning. Lasts for about 5 min. then goes away. It doesnt happen anytime else during the days startups. Just seems to be an early morning first start up thing. Thought it may be the belt?
