I've done some searching and seen some pretty cool cam installs/displays... but no brand names or sources are mentioned...

Anyone got a "buy this brand" recommendation??

Most important things for me are:

Factory NAV integration that works when put in reverse

Extra video out so I can hook up the rear DVD screens to the NAV screen

The ability to view rear cam and video and input NAV while moving...

That's my rig and I don't even know WTF they installed in it....
I just told em' what I wanted and they did the job. My invoice had no detailed parts listed on it.

 

We installed the Hitchcam H2 cam that replaces the center rear roof light. Looks like OEM install. Awesome, and very expensive....

That is the ONLY one to go with, the rest are junk....

BassGear's unit has the Hitchcam unit that I speak of. Look at the photos:

Gives you rear view while moving forward. Requires "overboard" over OEM NAV deck to work, and that is at extra cost. View is adjustable, but useless in the rain, as there is no rain hood and the unit gets splattered heavily. Still the best unit we found.
