Arm-rest broken
The arm-rest on my 2008 H3 had been broken. I mean the plywood inside it was broken probably of my constant leaning everytime I tried to moved my butt off the seat.
Is this not cover by the warranty?
The dealer is asking $450.00 to fix it. And I almost get a heart attack
When I get home, after double checking the parts I realized I can fix it myself. Hopefully!
i'll get some tools and will try it...Damn dealership!

Most automotive dealerships are similar to Hospitals in that they know that they can charge as much as they want and the chances are generally pretty good that folks will pay.
To many of us car owners with car problems are similar to sick folk in that, whenever possible we'll pay whatever we have to in order to get the problem fixed.
If you haven't already done so, you might check your local or online auto salvage yards for the part to replace your broken armrest.
I could be wrong but, I can't see it costing more than the dealership quoted you; and they are not that difficult to replace yourself.
Kudos, for deciding to fix it yourself.
Remember, "In the end it's gonna be okay."

'got it...Wow damn peanuts!
I went to Home Depot and begged for a piece of plywood and cut it off and did a bit of sanding and stapled it underneath the armrest and voila!!!
HAPPY!!! Now it felt good as if it was done by the effin' dealership
Guys Thanks for the replies.
