Default Anyone used a recent gmos04 adapter?

I read a number of comments and reviews that the gmos04 adapters were giving people problems. I read some on a stereo specific forum that mentioned they had gotten better.

I have a 2005 H2 Adventure with Bose and Onstar. I am going to be putting in the new Pioneer Premier F90BT. I was thinking about adding an amp, speakers, and re-wiring the car but I dont want to spend all the extra moneyif I can help it. I know it will not sound as good, but if it sounds good and I get the functionality of the new radio I will be happy. I already have a near competition quality system in my other car.

Any comments on sound quality with Bose unit and the gmos04?

What about reliability between older versions and the newest ones?

Thanks for any advice.

So far so good but dont forget to adapt their wiring diagram to your pioneer By-pass to enable features while in motion. If you have on-star it will shut off your head Unit to cure this hook the mute wire up on the head unit to the gms04's. I don't know if the F90bt is a hi out-put HU or not but if it is set the line in setting on the gms04 at it's lowest level to start with (full ccw). message me if you run into anything (i think I've goofed everything possible up at least once). Dont forget your antenna adapter (darn gm's)

Thanks for the reply. I have the radio in now and everything is working fine. I will reply to your post in my other thread in regards to your question there. My installer did have to turn the levels way down. The f90bt is their (premier) line and has the 4volt outputs. So it was super load to start! Thanks for the offeR for help by the way. I appreciate it. And same goes for you.
