Default Anyone install a electric fan yet?

Anyone install a electric fan? Just wondering what size and CFM you decided to go with? Does anyone know the CFM on the stock fan?

Flex-A-Lite dual 282 or 290 MONSTER fan. I put one in my 2500 HD Sierra when I had it - excellent. Kept the AC cool when in traffic. Take off that damn factory fan and the engine revs faster. What a BIG difference in HP!

Yea I hear the electric fan would free up some HP.

That is what I heard too but has anyone actually put one in a H2 so that they can speak about the change in performance?

I havent on an H2.. But it WOULD make perfect sense to do so. Both of our H2's are 08's and have electric fans. My main appreciation for it is the AC. As i said sitting in stopped traffic on hot days in a hummer without an electric fan - expect to shift to neutral and rev up the engine a bit to cool the system...

The Flex-A-Lite works great on the H2. I'm not sure about the HP increase but keep in mind that if you ever plan on fordging water ie rivers/mud hole, etc. be sure to install a fan kill switch. Make sure you turn off the fan before you enter the water or the water will shred your fan blades.
