Funny - $140,000 is only about half of what it cost to produce. Its a crazy truck -- I remember it from the SEMA show two years ago. 4 months after the H3 came out, it really got our attention..

Went to a car show last year and there was a black dodge truck with flames just like the ones on this hummer...and when I got up close and took a better look you could see very subtly skulls all throughout the flames, but they didn't stand out, you really had to look for them... It was really inpressive...I thought about doing that to Humzilla...

That "True Fire" techinique is done by a guy named Mike Lavalle, there's no doubt that the one with the small skulls was done by Mike. He's been in a lot of television shows for his paint jobs and what not.... That's about all Iknow... I'm not sure if I'm spelling his name right either.

I've seensomeone who is prob the same guy on a few TV shows as well. Painting cars and custom motorcycles. The technique that goes into achieving that look is insane, not to mention time consuming.
I'm sure that there are other custom painters out there doing similar paint jobs, but the guy I've seen (can't remember his name for sure) has got it DOWN. The guy is meticulous as all get out. You can't just be a "good" custom painter to do work like that.
