You do have other options, ARB locker, it's more of a precision made locker, a few more buck but worth it, also you can engage it when ever you want (engage first! then drive LOL) the otherbonus is you have an extra port on the compressor, so you can attach a hose and air up your tires after comming off the trail. The part # is RD84 GM 10 bolt 8.5 30 spline.

I got minefrom Randy's rack & pinion

If you are interested ask for Stacy he gave me awesome service and better prices then you see on the website.
It took me and my buddy less then 2 hours to install it.

You might want to wait to talk to Mike when we go off-roading since he works in their service department. He can accurately tell you how much the dealer will charge. Their service guys are the best I have ever worked with, and the mechanics are gear heads so they know their stuff.

I had an Eaton Locker installed in my Base H3 over a year ago from the dealership... I can honestly say it was the best investment to the H3 I have made so far... I have had no problems with the locker since the install..

Very true blackbear. However, that would be an A Locker, not E.

rather thana locker get a good set of mt's and a nice winch....the traction control in the h3 make it one step lower than having a full time locker...but 10 times better than a floating rear diff like you find on most stock trucks.
I've been considering putting a winch on then thought about doing the locker instead. Are you saying the winch is a much better investment for the $?
