Just wondering if anyone is planning an off road adventure in SD or WY sometime soon? Would love to trek the Badlands and see some of the scenery and see just what the H3 is capable of. Had the H3 for six months and other than pulling the ATV's around I have never seen off road. I am planning a trip to Yellowstone and through Jackson later this year, but I don't know that I can wait any longer.

 

My wife and I stayed in Jackson and Cody anddrove through Yellowstone on a road trip in late '05. If you want to see some REALLY spectacular scenery, follow the main highway south out of Yellowstone and drive through the Grand Tetons. The highway we took takes you in between two mountain ranges along the Snake river and you see some incredible scenery. I can't wait to go back there next year. I had never seen mountains up close until that day and I was just amazed by the size and being able to see them pierce the sky like that. There is a new resort or hotel they were building right after the entrance into Yellowstone when we went there last. It was on the east entrance coming from Cody.I still have the trip file from Streets and Trips so I can look up the highways if you want some ideas. I have some pictures somewhere as well.
