I'm getting 13.86 mpg/city and that's with 33" tires and a heavy foot. As soon as I get the extra cash I'm getting the "pcmforless" upgrade and a custom made exhaust. They still don't make an intake for the Alpha yet.

I forgot tomention that someone here on this forum said that I should add 3% to mytotal mpgbecause that's how much thelarger tires throw off the speedo. If that's the case I would be getting around 14.27 mpg/city

I drive both city and highway per tank and I have been averaging 15.9 to 16.3. I have 3200 miles on the Alpha as of today.

That's pretty good. My wife drives with a light foot and does pretty well. Not sureI would get the same results she does.

With just over 5100 miles, and using Amsoil 5W-30 synthetic oil, I'm averaging right at 15 mpg (w/33" tires).Of course I've been told that I drive ..."like and old man !"

I'm getting about 12 MPG with my 3.7L, BUT I take off pretty hard and drive at 75-80 on the HWY. So I make my own bed.
+1 lol

My first check was 14.27 mpg/city and the next check was 13.6 mpg/city. I was hoping to do a little better then that but [sm=itsok.gif] because I think it's just the way I drive. [sm=gears.gif]

My H3 I5 gets 15ish in this altitude. I have done mileage testing on almost all types of gasoline available. The best I can get here is Shell Mid grade, and that I get 15.4 per tank on. Mountain driving, stop and go on streets to work(120 blocks) and then highway some up hills and whatnot. The worst I got was 12.8 with King soopers and Costco gasoline. Phillips 66 isnt much better. Conoco and Sinclairare the closest, but dollar by dollar, shell mid grade seems to be #1, its a few cents more expensive, but worth it in the economy. Interesting side note:
Shell gas stations have one price for their gas, whereas Shell/CircleK stations are about 10-15cents per gallon higher. I asked the attendant this and he said that the Shell/circleK stations are more expensive because they fall into a different tax method and cost structure.
