Default Alpha mileage

after about 3 tank refills we're getting around 310 mpg with each fillup...this seems about 20-30mpg less than our 07H3 I-5. Not too bad for a V-8 (this was a mix of city/hwy over all three tanks). In my opinion, the Alpha gets great gas mileage until you reach half-full and then it starts to go fast.

I have 1580 miles on mine now, and I meter mine each fillup.
I'm at 13.180mpg (and rising) total so far.
I filled up tonight and got 13.762 on this last tank.
(now I know folks will get better than me because of how I drive, but this is where I'm at so far.)

310 miles per tank doesnt sound to bad.

Are you just taking it down to the red then filling up?

20 gal average per fill up (with the 3 left in reserve)?

With mostly city driving we are getting about 14.5 mpg. Highway gets up close to 16 mpg. We have about 8K on the truck so far.

good catch... 310 miles/fillup and running til the gaslight comes on. Or you can say approx. 13.5 mpg

I really think it's more about how you drive than the motor in the vehicle. I tend to stomp on the gas and I'm sure in this heavy vehicle (I have the I5) it hurts by at least one or two mpg. I average 14.8 for the I5. Much more city than highway.

I'm getting about 12 MPG with my 3.7L, BUT I take off pretty hard and drive at 75-80 on the HWY. So I make my own bed.
