Air Intake suggestion

Airaid
I've had an airaid intake on my 04 since it was almost new. I'm at 130K+ and have averaged over 12.5 mpg. When it had less miles, 13+ was common. Most of my driving is highway. I also have an aftermarket cat back exhaust. Don't know if it the combination or one or the other, but it has a very nice "manly" sound when you put your foot in it.
I went with the airaid because at the time, it seemed like the best value. It was a simple install. The only two issues I had were fitting the intake to the throttle body - seems like the clamp they send didn't fit - used oem part. The other issue is that the heat shield will sometimes vibrate and buzz at idle. I'm sure a rubber washer or bushing would fix it.

I have an Airdoc intake. Google it. It works great and its cheap! He has a website from where you order from. I've used K&N and AIR-Raid. Honestly the tubes are the same. As long as you remove the stock seagull looking thing its going to help and improve sound and performance.
