I had the K&N FILTER only nothing happened i just put the kit on oh boy it is great it save gas and the pickup is unbelievable on 8 cylinder you will not notice a difference but in this 5 WOW.The noise i only hear is when you really open it up on the highway that was one reason i waited i heard the same thing .
It is worth getting the motor work less harder too you can hear it and feel it.

 

I put on a K&N intake system last week. I am averaging 12 MPG with it on. I was getting 14-17mpg.....I really don't see much differance in pickup...probably going to take it off next week. If your interested in it.....keep your I on ebay.

That is virtually impossible..

My guess is your foot got heavier tring it out, happen to me until I stopped getting on it to make the intake howl
