Default Aftermarket subwoofer?

Do any of you H3T owners/aficionados have or know of an aftermarket subwoofer that will fit under the rear seat? I really miss the bass my sub provided in my old car, and the stock system does okay, but nothing great.

I would appreciate any info or suggestions!

That MB will definitely not fit, even with the reduced box size from the video. Right now I am leaning towards 2 Kicker COMPVT 8" powered by an MTX JH600. I'll have to build custom boxes though, since the max area under the bench seat, from my measurements, was 11.25 L x 10.25 W x 4 D.

If I figure it out, I'll post up more.

The Monsoon 7speaker system is THE best sounding stock audio system I've ever heard.

Well in the H3 you have a subwoofer (your 7th speaker). The H3T has no dedicated subwoofer. It has a six speaker system (2 front, 2 tweeters and 2 rear). Since the T has no sub, the 2 rear speakers are "bass speakers", and are meant to handle bass better than normal speakers; however, they are still far from adequate in my opinion.

I'll probably have two 8" Kickers or something of that nature before New Years.

Oh ya this is true.. I forgot which part of the forum I was in. I'll tell ya, this monsoon sub sounds rid-dick-you'll-us-ly amazing man. You have no kickpanels in the T? I dunno man, maybe somebody makes a sub that will fit under the seat. Only issue with that is, being careful in deep water.

I usually go AROUND deep water on the trail...

As for under the seat mounts - nobody makes a made-to-fit box for the T as far as I know.

Maybe fun, but much less fun when you eventually get stuck in the middle of a mud hole...

Been there, done that in my Land Rover. You are right. NOT fun at all.

Granted, I was able to un-stuck myself when I engaged the diffs.. but the truck still had 2-3" of water inside it bytime I engaged and pulled out :irk:
