Do you go off roading? If so get the Alpha with Adv. Pkg. If it's your daily driver buy anyone you want.

Welcome, do you have any more details as to your driving habits, intended use, etc?

I will be using it as my work vehicle. I am an assistat prodject manager, I drive to alot of job sites so I guess the gas will be my biggest issue.

I have an 07 H3 with Monsoon Sound, chrome pkg, Sun Roof and Side assitst steps. If you are getting an 08 I would get the Rear view mirror with the back up camera built in A Must Have! Living in NJ you might want to go with the Lux pkg w/heated leather seats. The side assist steps are also a must if any one under 5' 5" will be riding with you. I originally did not plan on getting the Monsoon with 6 disk changer, but man I am happy I did (espicially since there is no mp3 jack). It sounds Soooo good, and I love the Sub Woof! Thats all I think you will need from the dealer, The Sun Roof is cool but I live in So. Cal, all of the little options you can decide on later, and get a better deal on line. Plus take some time and see what you want or need after you have had yours for a few months. Also check out other rides in the Photo Gallery and see what looks good to you. Good Luck and Welcome

P.S. Check out Costco pricing it is usually about $500 over invoice, and I think you can still get the GMAC 0% for 60mo.

We had an 06 with the LUX package on it here in Ohio last winter with all of the snow and had no problems getting through the drifts or sliding around. Drove straight throughseveral 2-3 foot drifts.I think that standard suspension probably will do you just fine unless your job sites are really bad. The rest of it is going to be about how much time you spend in it. I agree about the built in back monitor, takes some getting used to with the little back window. Don't anyone get me wrong, I love my H3! Just had to get used to the little windows.
