Adventure Pkg vs. Lux Pkg

RE: Adventure Pkg vs. Lux Pkg
I rode a dyna low rider for 1 1/2 years and then I had the Softail Delux for a year. I decided after riding a few years to play it safe. I still have the plate HOGGRL and I use this has a password a lot. I now stick to 4 wheels. Just don't want to get injured. Its getting really crowded for riding on L.I. Anyway, I am still trying to decide on the Aventure Series. I have been getting dealers telling me its a rougher ride on highway. I have to go back and test ride one. I only rode the Lux. pk. veh. so far. Any opinions welcome. HELEN

I might do that, but it will cost me $2,500 for the tires and rims. Of course, they are killing me with the price.

That's correct..all the Hummer's are beautiful. I did not buy mine yet because I was waiting for a special GM cert. number to get a discount. I couldn't get it til monday. then my sales rep went on vacation. Then I was debating the lux. v. adventure. I think I will have to compromise and get the Lux. cause I want the nice ride and heated seats and power. My hubby and I drive 15 hours to the mountains of Georgia 5 times a year with our Shepherd and Lab. So we need these options. I am afraid the Adventure series would be a rough ride. But those tires look great...big and beafy...Then I was waiting for the new rebates to come. As of today, GM is giving a $2,500 rebate. Last month was only $1,950. So its a good think I was confused, lol....anyway its always fun talking and shopping cars.....

The dealer said I could have the tires and rims you see on the Adventure series pkg (only 4 tires) for $2,500. As much as I like the look, I think I will pass...too much money. We are looking at after market deals. For now, I will get the Lux. model and switch tires later on. Hel
