Default Accident?

Has anyone on thiss forum got in a serious accident in there hummer? I was just wondering because my mechanic said that the hummer had an extremely strong frame. I got in a frontal crash with an expedition and I onlyhadabig dent in the front fender and part of the hood. The expedition took a huge blow that brokeitswhole rear bumper, rear hatch, and it bent his frame in the back.

I was always told that hummers fold like a lawn chair.

But I don't think so

I don't know what kinda crack someone was on when they told you that, but the H3 has 4 and 5 start crash test ratings. You need some new sources

I think they are safe....

Car:
2005 Hummer H2
Description:
This is probably the worst we've ever seen an H2. Most of the time, they barely have any dents when they crash. The driver of this H2 rear ended a car at a stop light, then sped off at 90 mph and couldn't make the first corner he came to. Ended up flying off a 100 foot cliff and burst into flames.
Witnesses dragged him out of the car alive.

H1's hae very strong frames simular to medium duty trucks -> cube trucks, moving trucks, RV's, school buses, etc.. so Im sure if it was an H1 in the back of that school bus it wouldnt be soo dramatic probably have both vehicles looking like the bus. but its also where you hit as well the bumper the of that bus is alot higher than the bumper on that H2 and so it wasnt frame on frame.
