I've used the redline gear oil for racing for a few years and have had no failures with it. Use it in the diff and manual transmission in my other cars. Figured I'd stay with it. If you don't want to use redline, stay with at least a synthetic. Mobil 1, royal purple, amsoil, etc.

What was the weight again for the transfer case oil?

Unfortunately i don't remember. What you can do is go to the redline site and there is a form you can fill out with your vehicle info and they'll give you the correct replacement oil p/n's.

Redlx.........I have a very important question for you??

Just exactly how many quarts did you have to buy to do the diff oil change in the front and rear?

I bought 4 today and went to do it. 2 and a half went to the rear until it was full to the bottom of the fill hole and 2 in the front until it started to drain out of the fill hole.

I thought it was 4. Two in the rear and two in the front but this time it took alot more. I had to run back to the store and buy more royal purple.
Can you overfill these things? The guy at the store said your supposed to fill it to the fill hole then let it drain then cap it.....so thats what I did.

Fill it until it comes out of the hole. I think mine was 2.5 rear and 2 front as well. Make sure you clean the drain plug off. Its a magnet as well.
