Default 50k Service?

I'm about 800 miles away from hitting 50k miles in my 06 H2, I was wondering what you guys did concerning the maintenance? Did you guys go to your dealership or just any gas station that does auto service? All my known dealership closed down and are now either abandon or chevy dealership, or in Los Gatos, an exotic dealership lol. How much did it cost you guys and how did you guys go about it when you hit 35k/50k/xxk?

P.S Have you guys seen the "demon eyes" kit for the H2/H3? It looks pretty cool!

Whats a demon eyes kit?
50,000 miles you should have all your fluids replaced, trans, diffs, transfer case, brake fld, coolant, power steering fluid. Air filter replaced. Any reputable GM dealer or independent garage should be able to do that for you. Also have them check your steering parts because at 50k you are probably ready for an idler arm and maybe tie rod ends. Front end alignment, brake inspection, tire rotation, I do my own service so I dont know what the price should be.

My '05 H2 recently flipped 20,000 miles. So this past weekend I thought it might be due for an air filter change. I dug out the owners manual and it said to change it at 100,000 miles. I've never heard of an air filter being good for 100K. I vacuumed it off, blew it out with compressed air and put it back in. It still looks pretty much like new.

My H2 does not have the gauge that tells you when to replace it. Does anyone?

As far as when the rest of the scheduled service will be done, I will take it to my H2 dealer (Cadillac). It might cost more, but at least I can say the service was done by a qualified mechanic if my extended warranty ever becomes an issue. I would not trust a gas station nor most of the other car repair shops in Vegas.

It looks pretty neat... I don't know if its TOO much though (not price wise).

"50,000 miles you should have all your fluids replaced, trans, diffs, transfer case, brake fld, coolant, power steering fluid. Air filter replaced." --- I've done that a bit earlier around 45k, not brakes though so I guess I'll go check it out. Thanks for the help Phil, I'll definitely ask my garage to do the steering parts and tie rods if they need to be done. It was about 450.00 for the fluids including synthetic oil change.
