Default 4 Hi

Should you use 4 HI lock when ground is snow covered,or just leave in regular mode and just drive, thanks.

When I am on the road, snow covered or whatever, I just drive....... no need to play with T Case buttons, with StabiliTrack and the 60/40 unlocked split it is intended to be idiot proof.

Now if you had deep snow on a less traveled road, not packed down, you might consider Hi Lock.

BTW there was a thread on this a couple weeks ago, take a look around and see what was said then as well.

I do use 4 hi in the snow, that's what it is for. Slippery conditions.

Default tried them both in the snow the other day...

And the 4 hi lock definatly was better in the snow covered slippery sections. I would make sure you use "unlock" mode if driving into a clean plowed lot or road that has been plowed. even if a tiny layer of snow is left. My old K5 hated turning on plowed non super slippery roads.The h3 would probably be the same, not liking it either. I am not about to even try near dry paved road, it wears out parts faster doing that!
