I went from a 265/75R16 to the BGFs All Terrain KOs 295/75R16. They are one brand that carries this size. I am very happy with them. I have no issues with rubbing. I compromised between the 285s and the 315s...my 3 isnt an alpha with the V8, so I didn't want to push that large of a tire with the straight5.

I truely respect your opinion on chose Doc olds, I try to buy usa produces at every turn to But sometimes it difficult to find things built here I have always purchased american made cars except for 1 over the yrs. In 08 the wife and I bought GM cars an saturn Sky redline and my h3. Needless to say both brands are no more and we fill like GM has turned their backs on loyal Customers. Most likely we will not make that mistake again. I purchased toyo oc mt tires a couple of yrs ago and am very pleased with them. I really liked the agressive tread design and the reveiws where great. I did not feel guilty for purchaseing them ,god knows for what they cost i could of picked about any tire on the market to purchase. I do still believe in America and will always try to buy american first but with the lower cost of foriegn products it makes it tuff to though down extra $$ on products when both are of equal quality and when our own companies are betraying us (banking, motor co.ect...)imo.

Very few choices in 295 best I could find were the General Grabbers but are back ordered everywhere for god knows how long. Yokohomo Geolanders are nice all seasons in a 295 but not that agressive. I have have them on the wife's escape and she loves them.

The General Grabber AT2's are a good looking tire. Kind of resemble the BFG AT's IMO.

I guess it all comes down to if you are going to take your H3 off paved roads like it should be or put 35" tires on 22" wheels and never see dirt. Either way, the outside diameter is still the same. Here is a pic of mine on 315/75-16 Goodyear Wranger MT/R on matte black wheels. Just had them mounted. Rides like a dream. Love to take this thing wheelin and abuse it.

Gents,

Have a 2009 H3 Alpha with 315/75R16 Coopers on the stock rims; Koni Raid shock absorbers all round but the front is not levelled. When taking it offroad coming down an incline, my front tyres hit the inner fender well. Have searched the forum but did not find anything about this. Any suggestions? Will cranking up the torsion bars solve this or just reduce it? Please advice.

Thank you!

Harrie

2008 Alpha with Toyo Open Country M/T's and levelled front. Rubs the front swaybar a little on full turn. The (poser) picture was taken when I checked for rubbing in the rear.

Rides like a dream. Sees dirt almost every weekend.
