i don't know if i prefer the photos of the new interior to the old or not, i don't think i do. the H2s interior just works as-is, and if i leave a window down and hit a mud hole it cleans up easily. i like the piping, i sort of like the brown leather, i love the analog clock, and they didn't fck up the shifter area, which is sweet. So all in all, its nicer, but... does it look germane and sedate and corporationy and like every escalade/benz/blah/blah SUv interior instead of like a hummers interior?

The H3 Alpha should have gotten the bigger engine AND 35's and a front locker, and the axles and shafts from a 2-ton truck. That would be fun.

I hope the new H2 has cooled seats

 

I think you're right -- and I like it. I remember when the H2s first came out and everyone was up in arms since it was billed as a 'luxury' vehicle and didn't want a lot of the extra features -- they said it was getting away from the Hummer's (H1) roots...I think the H2 is a breed of its own which offers a nice luxury interior that CAN be compared to an escalade or benz, but still have incredible off-road ability right off the factory line...overall, it'll be faster, more luxurious, without sacrificing any off-road ability -- I want one.

The center dash vents and clock look almost like the set-up in our new Chrysler. I prefer the more masculine looking set-up in our current H2 version, but I do like the new 6-speed tranny idea.[sm=youreright.gif]
